the earthquakes of September 2007.
A little closer to home, Ant Packaging is
committed to assisting Australia's
Indigenous population develop the capabilities to choose a life that they have
reason to value. Our annual donation to the Cape York Institute for Policy and
Leadership helps fund The Institute's Higher Expectations Program (HEP) to
increase the number of indigenous children that finish high school and go on to
tertiary studies. These people will then provide Cape York
communities with a pool of talented and educated future leaders.
The Cape York Institute was established in
July 2004 as an independent policy and leadership organisation. The Institute
champions reform in Indigenous economic and social policies and is led by Noel
Pearson, an Aboriginal leader and activist.
